Trans TV Online + Metro TV Online on Internet using Linux and Firefox

Put this address on your Firefox :

* MetroTV channel
mms://202.171.25.216/metro

* TransTV channel
mms://202.171.25.216/transtv

Note : mms protocol used by Metro TV and TransTV, can't be used with others channel such as RCTI or SCTV.

If you see message "MMS is not a registered protocol" when trying to view streaming content, here's the fix :

  1. Open Firefox, type about:config in the address window, and click enter.
  2. Right click on the window and choose , then from the pop-up menu that appears.
  3. In the first pop-up box, enter: network.protocol-handler.app.mms
  4. In the next pop-up box enter the path to your favorite movie player (e.g. Kaffeine "/usr/bin/kaffeine", Kplayer "/usr/bin/kplayer", or Totem "/usr/bin/totem", etc).
  5. Now, click in the main window again but choose New > Boolean
  6. In the first pop-up box, enter: network.protocol-handler.external.mms
  7. In the second pop-up select True.

Done. Enjoy.
